Aleksandra Wadas
Aleksandra was born and raised in Europe, where her passion for movement and mindfulness began at a young age through ballet training and yoga practice. These early experiences sparked a deep appreciation for the connection between body and mind — a philosophy that continues to shape her therapeutic approach today.
After immigrating to Canada, Aleksandra pursued an Honours degree in Kinesiology at the University of Windsor, with minors in Psychology and Visual Arts. Alongside her academic studies, she became a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Pilates Mat Instructor through the PhysicalMind Institute, equipping her with a comprehensive understanding of movement mechanics, rehabilitation, and wellness.
In 2015, Aleksandra's life took an unexpected turn when she suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm and a hemorrhagic stroke. Her
journey through recovery was profound and transformative, igniting a deeper desire to dedicate her life to helping others navigate their own paths to healing.
In 2018, she graduated with a diploma in Registered Massage Therapy from ICT Kikkawa College in Toronto. Three years later, she relocated to Metro Vancouver to continue her work as a therapist. With over a decade of experience in the field of health and wellness— including five years as a Clinical Instructor — Aleksandra brings a depth of knowledge, empathy, and skill to her practice.
Having lived through serious illness and recovery, Aleksandra offers a unique, first-hand perspective on personal health journeys. Her RMT practice is rooted in a holistic approach: she sees each person as a whole, supporting them in reaching their individual wellness goals through compassionate and tailored care.
Aleksandra is known for her grounded, professional presence and her ability to create a calm, supportive environment. She is committed to helping each patient move toward their unique wellness goals, combining evidence-informed care with a holistic perspective.
Aleksandra is an adaptable and intuitive therapist, offering treatments that range from relaxing massage to injury rehabilitation. When beneficial, she complements her sessions with remedial exercise prescriptions, drawing on her expertise in personal training and Pilates to extend the benefits of her treatments beyond the table.
Outside of her clinical work, Aleksandra maintains an active visual arts practice and enjoys spending time in nature, gardening, cooking, meditating, practicing yoga, and staying physically active. She shares her home with a delightful mix of hairless and furry feline companions.
