Her own experience with chronic pain has deepened her understanding of how pain can affect everyday life. She uses a variety of techniques, including Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release, tailoring each treatment to the patient's concerns and individual needs. Her areas of focus include headache treatment, prenatal and postpartum massage, and remedial exercise and stretching to support patients between visits.

Before becoming a Registered Massage Therapist, Shiori spent over 10 years working in healthcare, caring for seniors and individuals with disabilities. She graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT) in April 2025, receiving the Clinical Excellence Award and graduating on the Honour Roll. She has experience working alongside other healthcare professionals, including fellow RMTs and kinesiologists.

Originally from Japan, Shiori moved to Canada in 2017 and fell in love with Vancouver's diversity and natural beauty. She now calls Vancouver home and offers treatments in both English and Japanese.
